East London Children's University - City Hall Autumn 2019 Graduation

I am excited to announce that our Autumn Graduation will be held at the London Chamber City Hall home of the Mayor of London on Friday 18th October 2019, commencing at 17.00pm.

This will be an amazing event and we are extremely fortunate to host it at one of the most iconic buildings in London and overlooking the Thames. We have an exciting range of speakers include Joanne McCartney, Deputy Mayor of London, planned for this event and will be announcing more shortly.

We have 70 graduation spaces at this event, due to the additional security requirements of the venue and as we have previously experienced issues with families arriving without prior notification, we are continuing with booking through Eventbrite. 10 tickets have been reserved for families who do not have access to the internet.

You are booking a ticket for your child, please use your child's full name on the booking (the Graduate), please indicate the amount of guests (a maximum of two) on the booking form. You do not need to book any additional tickets for yourselves.

Step 1

If your child has reached a CU milestone you can book a graduation space.

Eventbrite link goes live – Monday 23rd September at 19.00pm. Spaces will be allocated on first come first served basis.

Please book the ticket in the name of the child graduating as this name is then included in the programme and certificates.

Children are entitled to attend a graduation if they have reached a CU milestone. Families are able to book a maximum of two guest tickets per graduate. If additional guest tickets are required they can email me (jessica.worf@15billionebp.org) to go on the guest waiting list.

If your child has attended a graduation before, please list the certificates that they have received to date.

Step 2

Families will receive an electronic confirmation direct from Eventbrite. Families who have applied for tickets directly using Eventbrite will need their passports validated. I will email each school a list of the children due to attend and their level, families will need to take their passports into schools to get them validated.

Step 3

Families will receive a formal printed invite. You must bring their formal invite and printed confirmation form to the ceremony. If families are not on the list they will sadly not be able to attend the ceremony.

Please arrive in plenty of time and allow an additional 10 minutes for you to go through the City Hall 'airport style' security check.

If you are unable to book please do not worry, another ceremony is planned for the winter term 2019.

We encourage our families to use public transport where possible.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes please bring your printed ticket and your formal invite.

Can I update my registration information?

Registration details can be updated at any time. If you are no longer able to attend please let us know so that we can offer the space to another graduate.

What are the CU Milestones?

Please notify us of the total hours your child has achieved. We will then notify you of the award your child is due to receive.

I need more guest tickets, what can i do?

Tickets are limited to two guest tickets per person, if you require more tickets please email Jessica to go onto the waiting list.
